Question : Wedding flower help?
I know that I want to carry large Calla Lilles.. i have a simple strapless ivory gown and i think they are the perfect flower. The bridesmaids are in navy with champagne sashs. Any suggestions for their flowers? Would bunches of smaller white/ivory calla lillies work? Or do i want to bring another color in?I am open to all suggestions and help..THANKS

Answer #1 I think it'd look really nice if you carried a somewhat large calla bouquet, and
the bridesmaids carried slightly smaller calla bouquets. Click here for photos:

Answer #2 I think a smaller version of your bouquet with navy ribbon tied around would be
beautiful!Congrats on your upcomming wedding. Remember to enjoy every

=en&start=21&sa=NIf you look at the second row, first picture, you'll see a
gorgeous bouquet of deep orange callas that would work beautifully with your
color! For the maids I would mix the deep orange with an ivory cala or even
ivory roses instead. Keep going with the link, there are tons of suggestions
and I'll bet there is something there you can use.For cute table ideas - look at
the picture next to the bouquet - it's a candle! - answered by Cory C
Answer #4 I had a strapless gown and carried white callas. My bridesmaids wore mocha (the
pic doesnt look mocha, but they were) and carried pink callas. I was really
happy with how it all looked.

what color champagne is, but maybe something in the yellow/gold or peach/apricot
category would work? Then you could carry white/ivory ones. I like the idea of
having the same flower in different colors for the bride and bridesmaids.

Answer #5 Your options here are limitless. Check with your florist to see what types are
in season for the time you get married. Some flowers are more readily available
(also less expensive) and hold up better in different seasons than
others.Personally, I would keep the calla lilies as your bouquet and give the
bridesmaids a different flower. If you want to stick with callas, then maybe go
with a different color than yours. I believe they come in yellows and pinks
too.I've seen bridesmaids with navy/blue dresses carry bouquets with multiple
colors in them (deep pink, yellow, blue/purple and the green foliage) and it
looks amazing.Good luck! - answered by Greyhound Mama
Answer #6 I'm doing the same type colors in my wedding and using large callas for my
bouquet but to make the color POP in all the bouquets i'm using some blue
hydrangea for color and some ivy in mine for a nice contrast of color. You could
also use blue hyacinth for a really nice color. - answered by cntrygrlnpink24
Answer #7 Large callas only come in one color - white (ivory, white flowers are not really
white)The colored callas are "mini-callas". Even in the mini category there are
variations in size.Perhaps you could carry the large callas. Depending on the
style of bouquet you choose (this could be done in several ways) you could
augment the large callas with smaller white ones or add a soft color with a few
minis.I would still suggest that your ribbon match the skirt of your dress.
Otherwise, all people see is the ribbon coming down the aisle. The bridesmaids
could carry a smaller version of your bouquet done with mini-callas. And I
would suggest the ribbon on their bouquets be navy like their dresses.Adding
another soft color would give a little more interest to the bouquets. Suggest:
pastel pink, peach, yellow.Tip: Callas are easily tinted.Happy planning! - answered by wfdiy
