Question : Low carbon flowers for delivery in Devon.?
I want to send my mum some flowers but I want low mileage - I'd prefer seasonal, locally-grown (certainly UK). She's in south Devon - internet useless all online florists seem to source 'exotic' (high-carbon and air mileage). Is there a website catering to this? Any ideas?

Flowers are usually in the cargo of commerical flights, which fly anyway.Just
buy your mom some nice flowers. sheesh.

Your best bet may be at the Village Market, and try to pay the vednor to deliver
his locally-grown wares himself. Also keeps the money in the local economy
