Answer #2 I personally think that the blue and brown sounds nice but both are nice. I
would say that you should talk to the person who is going to be standing next to
you at the wedding and see what you come up with together. It's something the
two of you to decide together. - answered by Vince R
Answer #3 Red, ivory & silver seem to go with your theme better. You can go with any red
flowers....roses, carnations, gerber daisies, tulips, or you can go with all
white and have red & silver accents on everything. - answered by Luv2RIDE
Answer #4 well I usually tell clients that colors are always a personal choice but that
bolder and/or darker colors are better for a night or fall/winter wedding. I
like either combination. Red may be a little closer to traditional Chinese. As
for flowers, roses are always good, peonies are nice, lilies. - answered by tweenklegirl
Answer #5 i really dig the baby blue/brown color scheme. very modern and unique! - answered by LOLA
Answer #6 none of them - answered by EmmaNicole
Answer #7 I like the red idea - red will always be in style - the chocolate brown will go
out of style just like it did in the 70s. - answered by Cola2007
Answer #8 I imagine fiery red, ivory and silver nice for a Chinese theme. there are many
suitable flowers. Poinsettia are a beautiful red flower and the fallen petals
off a red Jacaranda are lovely used as a table setting. The tall stem lillies
are nice. as for silver, pine cones painted silver as a table setting, and
silver ribbon around the flowers which are carried. When it all boils down, this
should be a decision between you, your future husband and your Bridal party. We
can give advice, but we are not the people who are going to be there wearing
these colours. I wish you well. Hope it all turns out perfect for you, whatever
you decide on. - answered by angel-18
Answer #9 orchid's are very beautiful for any wedding and i think it would go especially
nicely alongside yours with either one you choose. I saw a beautiful wedding
done in baby blue and chocolate brown, with ivory orchids that had a green tint
to them it was amazing. I also think that cherry blossoms are very traditional
looking but can be updated for a modern twist. Calla lillies are also beautiful
and eccentric. you can place them in a bowl and line them inside of it the
lillies can be a beautiful deep shade of purple that looks brown and could match
the motif. Good luck and have fun planning! - answered by koalapunch2
Answer #10 I'd go with the red, personally. It is a traditional color to have intertwined
with a Chinese wedding ceremony. My sister is married to a Chinese-American,
and his mother wouldn't have it any other way other than if she had red accents
on her dress. Not to mention that it will be SO much easier with flowers! Red
symbolizes good luck, prosperity, and joy in China. My brother-in-law's only
suggestion is that you use gold with it instead of silver. Gold is considered
"divine," and symbolizes good health. As far as flowers go, here are my
suggestions if you're using the above color scheme:For your bouquet, I would use
stargazer lilies, stephanotis, peonies, sweet peas, and white cherry blossoms.
Try to steer clear of white roses, because they are never really "white" and
clash horribly with most dresses. If you are getting married in the summer, I
would add calla lilies instead of the stargazer lilies. For the bridesmaids, if
their dresses are red, go for red roses, alstromeria (it comes in dozens of
colors, I'd do white with a red center), and yellow roses. The groomsmen should
have red and yellow tea rose boutonnières, and your fiance' should have either
a small stargazer or calla lily (whichever you have in your bouquet) and
stepanotis boutonnière. My best suggestion is to go to your local craft store
(Michael's, Garden Ridge, or someplace that has a large silk flower stock), and
look for flowers there. When you see something you like, read the tag, and
write down what it is!! It makes things a lot easier, and you can "put
together" a bouquet and see how it looks before it's even made!!Congratulations,
and best of luck to you! - answered by Doc918
Answer #11 Go with the second, it's brighter. Having brown is just too dull. For red
flowers, red roses or more informal, gerbera daisies. - answered by Lydia
