Question : Ordering Wedding Flowers online?
Does anyone have experience with ordering their wedding flowers on Proflowers.com? I would like to know what your experience was.Their website promises 100% satisfaction with many options were something to happen to the flowers. The local florist wasnted $50 just for a consultation, that's ridiculous.

Answer #1 I havent had any experience with them, but honestly, I think it would be best to
go with a local florist. - answered by MariChelita
Answer #2 I don't know about flowers online but my daughter that got married last year had
flowers and I think they are way overpriced. She ordered them from a floral
shop. It was $900 that to me was wasted. - answered by Nancy
Answer #3 I didn't even know you could do that! How cool is that! I don't have any
experience with this. Maybe you can call them ask for some references in your
area. Also, see if they have any sort of guarantee ... just in case. - answered by OohLaLa
Answer #4 I have not ordered wedding flowers on pro-flowers.com, but I have ordered other
arrangements and have been very happy with them. However, ordering your wedding
flowers online, you are taking some risks... 1.) There is absolutely NO
guarentee that you will get your flowers on your wedding day! A local florist
will be able to trudge through snow, or rain and whatever, whereas, a shipping
company like UPS doesn't care it's your wedding... if they can't get through...
you're out of luck. 2.) It is very hard to distinguish how big and of what
value the flowers are that you are purchasing. Pictures are very disceptive...
how do you know how big the bouquet is?? is it 10inches around, 3? 27?? You do
not know what exactly you are getting for your money in that aspect.
Websites like weddingchannel.com, and theknot.com provide checklists and
questions you can ask a professional florist. I would call pro-flowers and ask
them all the questions you would ask a professional florist (where applicable)..
flowers are expensive no matter where you get them from... make sure you do your
research. If you're looking to save money... there are many websites that
professional florists use to order their flowers online. You would have to then
create your own bouquets, but this can help you cut costs. Check with local
florists and see if they recommend any websites, or if they will order the
flowers for you at a discounted cost?? Again, always check for references,
reliability and satisfaction... this is your wedding!! - answered by SmileyAngel
Answer #5 Monitor colors vary so much, I would be afraid that when the flowers arrive they
wouldn't be what I was expecting. Do they let you order samples? - answered by Maria S
