Question : Would Fresh Cut Flowers survive in a box to another state? If so, for how long?

Answer #2 My brother shipped Mom roses from California and we live in Ohio. The stems were
packed in wet clay and wrapped with plastic. He did send them UPS second day
delivery.. I don't think they would last long during the warmer weather. - answered by Judy
Answer #3 1-800-flowers does it all the time. They put a water tip on each stem and then
ship the whole bouquet in styrofoam. I've gotten flowers that way and they
lasted a week or two, same as florist plants do. - answered by Kacky
Answer #4 A fresh cut plant can last up to two weeks as long as it is kept between 34-40
degrees. It will need fresh water before it is sent and clip the bottom 1/8"
off the stem. If it is not kept at 34-40 degrees, it wont last longer than 2
