Question : Wedding flower girl ideas?
I'm getting married in August and plan to do something different with the flower girl. Rather than have her drop flower petals before everyone, I plan to have her walk first and give out long stems of flowers to people sitting in the aisle seats. So I'm trying to figure out what she can carry these flowers in, because the baskets made for long flowers is just too big for her.She is 7 or 8 so she's grown a little... I was thinking of putting the flowers in something similar to a pocketbook but deeper -- a flower bag.any ideas?

Answer #1 IS SHE BIG ENOUGH TO LIKE CARRY THEM IN HER ARMS SOMEWHAT SIMILAIR TO A
BRIDESMAID AND LET THE GUESTS TAKE THEM OFF THE TOP? OTHERWISE TRY A FLORIST
THEY CAN USUALLY ORDER SPECIAL BASKETS AND EASTER IS SOON THERE MAY BE MORE OF A
SELECTION AT THAT TIME AS WELL. - answered by SASSY
Answer #2 Have you ever heard of a moses basket? They are made to carry babies in. That
might be cool. I don't know, though...you will want to look at them online and
check out the dimensions. It may be a little too big. But, I think if it's not
it would look pretty. It would lay flat and you would put the roses where the
baby would normally go. Then, you could save it for when/if you have a baby.
Good luck and congratulations!!Below is a link to one. - answered by Lissy
Answer #3 How about if you have her carry them in a Miss America style bouquet. That way,
she just gives away one from the top. Each one could have a ribbon tied around.
That would be really cute!! - answered by moon_gurl_02
Answer #4 How many would she need to carry? You could get one of those round "boxes" like
what you use to pkg a wine bottle in. Just cover/decorate it to look more
"wedding-ish" The shape/style is something similar to what they always picture a
cupid carrying his/her arrows in...most of them already have a carry-rope handle
tied on through holes, which could be removed and replaced with a longer
thick-ribbon sash so that she could carry it easier in the same way that we
would a heavy bag/purse placing the strap over our head and wearing it across
the chest so that the container is in front of her. And it would be deep enough
(approx 12-17") to carry long stom flowers without them falling out due to being
top-heavy.I made one of these for my friends wedding, she did something similar,
her flower girl was only 7 and she actually had her wearing wings so she REALLY
looked like a cupid! It was ADOREABLE!! If you'd need any help or further info
on how to do this, I would be MORE than glad to help you. - answered by secret_oktober_girl
